As the end of the year approaches, and holiday cheer is all around, it’s easy to pour a pint and think back in reflection on the last twelve months.
There have been changes in the personal lives of our employees, and professional ones, too. Some good, some bad and a bunch somewhere in the middle. We collectively tried new things and overcame challenges along the way.

Throughout the year our production team released ~20 new beers -Violet’s Folly, Saison de Athentique, No Questions Asked and Gather ‘Round to name a few- and did some collaborations with friends throughout the state. They even hand-dipped some wax bottle releases, and threw every fruit they could at our Berliner and Seltzers.
Our front of house team seemingly spent months pivoting on the fly and making the taproom a vibrant and entertaining place with events going on most nights. Want to come watch a movie? Need an event space? Attend trivia? Hear live music? There’s a good chance we’ve got you covered.

Also, though, we were fortunate to partner with several amazing local organizations on different sponsorships, partnerships, donations and more throughout the year. A lot of the time that you’re here, drinking beer, a percentage of that pint goes towards a cause and to that we say thank you and raise a glass!
Our community, and supporting it, is incredibly important to us. Over the last year, we’ve partnered with nearly 40 organizations/groups to help foster support whether it be percentage-nights to full-blown event sponsorships. From Athens Pride Parade and Historic Athens’ Porchfest to auction raffles for ESP and UGA Miracle, to name just a few. We couldn’t offer support for them, without support from you, so thank you!

So, as this chapter concludes we have our sights set on 2023 with lofty goals in mind. Calendar days are turning into busy schedules and pallets of ingredients are on order.
New beers, events, and partnerships all await, so here’s to ‘22 and onwards to 2023. We’ll see you there! Cheers.
