Smoked Brown Ale with Star of Anise | 7.9% ABV

Occasionally, we brew a beer on our pilot system that crosses boundaries and we do this – simply because we can. Our small one barrel pilot system allows us to experiment and have fun with new creations.

We recently brewed a Brown Ale made with Smoked Peat Malt and Star of Anise that provides a distinctive black licorice flavor on the front end and a nice hint of peat smoke on the back end. It is aptly named “Good & Plenty”.
