All funds from the art auction, merch, donations, and 10% sales from the collab beer benefit the Carrie Fischer Siegmund Grant, an annual award that goes to a local educator in the Athens area who seeks to inspire through innovative, interdisciplinary, and meaningful learning that results in a long-lasting impact on students.
The fund was started by her colleagues, friends, and family to memorialize her career in education after Carrie lost her battle with cancer in 2021
