Joe Pettis (Atlanta, GA)
Joe Pettis is a current stand-up comic and former senior class vice president (CCHS 2001). After graduating college with a degree in American Literature, Joe decided to pursue stand-up comedy and stopped reading books. In 2023, he recorded his first comedy special, Live at the 40 Watt Club.
Joe has appeared on TV a couple times – Adult Swim’s Daytime Fighting League and Discovery’s Six Degrees with Mike Rowe. He has numerous appearances on Doug Loves Movies – and has lost every time. Joe has performed at over 30 festivals, including the Nashville Comedy Fest, Laughing Skull Comedy Fest, Charleston Comedy Fest, SweetWater 420 Fest, Southern Fried Gaming Expo, and more.
Joe is the founder of 1UP Comedy and produces over 100 independent shows every year. Rolling Stone listed his shows among the “5 Cool Things to Discover in Atlanta.” He’s hosted the world’s longest running brewery show at SweetWater Brewing Company since 2011. Joe regularly emcees shows at gaming conventions and even did a show at a swingers conference one year (that was weird).
When not performing, Joe spends time on his farm riding his four-wheeler and hanging out with his wife and their five dogs, two mini-mules, and one horse.
Brian O’Neill (Charlotte, NC)
Brain is a Mental Health & Fitness Advocate, Community Engagement Manager and the host of Standup NoDa in Charlotte, NC. He is a hilarious up and coming feature comedian who’ll be making his Athens Comedy debut!
