Immortal is named in honor of Henrietta Lacks. In 1951, during cancer treatment, some of Henrietta’s cells were taken for research. Those cells, now commonly referred to as HeLa cells, turned out to be unique and became essential in medical research and development. We encourage you to have a glass and raise it her name!
