Next Act is back for an evening of exciting cabaret at Athentic!

As the final cabaret in their Season of Dreams, this production will spotlight the most iconic “I Want” songs in musical theatre – the moments when characters step forward and declare exactly what they’re chasing.

These are the songs that ignite the story. From “Holding out for a Hero” in Footloose to “Proud of Your Boy” in Aladdin, this cabaret will celebrate the vulnerability behind every dream. Each number reveals a motivation: money, love, recognition, power, belonging, freedom, you name it. This cabaret asks what truly drives us to move forward and explores the universal human need to want something more.
