Bold Faced Rye
Ain’t no lie, it’s a rye. Bold Faced Rye is a Roggenbier, a dark German ale brewed with hefeweizen yeast. Mixed with spice and clove you get a very rich beer with hints of caramel and toffee and a pillowy texture. This Roggenbier recipe was our first to be brewed commercially as an award for winning a home brew competition.
